DIY Paper
Save the Dates
Our STDs are from Vistaprint, originally meant to be engagement party invites.
I signed up for their email offers, and got an email offering invites for free. You can get 10 free per email address, so I ordered 10 each with my two personal email accounts, and one work email account.
Then at checkout, they gave me the opportunity to add an additional 10 to the order of 10 for $7, with free shipping. I opted for that option with two of the orders, for a total of 50 Save the Dates.
30 free cards… shipping = $12
20 upgrade cards = $14
Total cost for 50 Save the Dates = $26

The paper for the envelope liners is from a local store, Pulp Papery.
We got a stamp for our return address from Etsy seller SugarLetter.

We'll have about 50 invitations and I would have liked to order extra envelopes, but they only come in multiples of 50 :( I'm just expecting to have to run to a local paper store for a few exhorbantly priced extras when I inevitably mess up on a few of the envelopes.
Other Stuff
Green ribbon from Joann ..................................................................... $4
Double-sided tape from Joann ............................................................. $14
Postage for RSVP envelopes ................................................................ $22
Postage for invites ............................................................................. TBD
Total price for 50 invitations (minus postage) = $83 / $1.62 each. It's a little more than I would have liked, but they're perfect!

Here's my first try at designing our invites. The ribbon goes around the back to hold all the inserts (pics of those coming soon).
